Catoma Outdoor’s Falcon firefighting tent includes the patented Catoma Speedome frame that features exclusive hinged poles made from solid fiberglass for extra strength and quick set-up. The poles and tent are connected so there is no need to worry about any lost poles.The specially made fly includes a light reflective material on the outside to keep the tent from getting too hot while set up during the day. The other side of the fly is coated and seam taped for waterproof camping. The Falcon is a two-man or three-man tent that works while firefighting in the forests or pitching at the campgrounds. Use the Falcon when you need a fast and reliable shelter. The hexagonal design allows for enough room to sleep and to store small amounts of gear.This is the tent used most often by wildland firefighters spending the night in fire camp. The 60 second tent is very easy to put up and take down. The fiberglass poles are sewn into the pole sleeves and a quick connect system allows the pole sections to self-attach to each other. The 7′ X 8′ can easily accommodate 2-3 people.
