Synthetic double jacket with thermoplastic lining.  Color: Yellow

Meets or Exceeds NFPA: Comprehensive fire hose standard 1961, 1997 edition.

High Burst Rating: 1200 psi up to 3″ diameters, 900 psi for larger diameters.

All-Weather Performance: Retains pliability down to -40 degrees F.

Ultra Light Weight: 1 3/4″ 50 foot coil weighs under 16 lbs.

Space Saving: Takes up to 20% less space than rubber lined hose.

Not recommended in applications where petroleum or chemical contact is likely, We recommend the use of our covered JAFRIB hoses that can easily be cleaned and decontaminated.



Hose Construction
Hose outer jacket shall be made from 100% high quality spun polyester yarn circular woven in a tight compact weave for superior abrasion resistance and limited absorption. The inner jacket the same as the outer has a chemically and mechanically bonded inner tube of smooth seamless polyurethane offering low friction loss, excellent ozone and temperature resistance . Hose can also have applied ???DURA-VIS” coating for additional protection and color
code identification.



Lining Properties

a. Ultimate Tensile Strength:Tensile strength of the lining 40 MPa

b. Ultimate Elongation:500 % minimum.

c. Accelerated Aging Test: The tensile strength and ultimate elongation of the polyurethane which has been subjected to the action of oxygen at a pressure of 300 psi +/- 10 psi (2100kpa +/- 70kpa) and temperature of 70 degrees centigrade +/-1 degree centigrade (158 F +/- 18 F ) for a period of 96 hours shall be greater than 80% of the original properties stated.

d. Adhesion: Shall be such that a suspended weight of 12 lbs shall not move a strip cut transversely more than 1″ per minute.

e. Lining shore hardness minimum shore A 85, tear strength 60 N/mm
